The poems, i.e., the "Intros" from "The Chamelon" on through to "Valentine's Gift" are tightl. They are lyrical, well-written and clear but what makes them standout, resonate is Adrienne's crisp, very clear and most of all, alluring sound which possesses a sensitivity all its own. As a debut album, one hears in "So Natural" an artist who has areas to work on -- I want her to be more assertive with the singing but that is a minor concern in the grand scheme of things. Those are my first thoughts that I would finalize by saying Adrienne Townes has all the goods to be the real deal.

Wow Johnie, Thanks for the Kudos. Just saw this post. I will let you know when my next CD drops. It is head and shoulders above this one. Again. Thanks ;-)

The poems, i.e., from the "Intros" from "The Chamelon" up to and including "Valentine's Gift" are exceptional. I am a poet myself and can certainly tell when I am in the presence of another when hearing work that is well-written and clear for starters, but what makes these standout, resonate is the quality of Adrienne's voice which is crisp, very clear and most of all, it is alluring. Her voice has a soul and sensitivity all its own that, in my listening, found me saying to myself "Darn it, but I would love to meet the Sister who feels this way!" The songs are good, make no mistake, but as a poet myself I have to say Adrienne is "natural>"
Beautiful young lady! First impression from the start of the website: The voice is lost a bit in the mix and has too much effects on it. Unless, of course, it is suppose to be 'dreamy'.
